jQueryTO: Widening Your JavaScript Pyramid
My talk here was a warmup for later presentations about how to build a wide base for your JavaScript applications.
The metaphor I went after was: if you want to build your pyramid high (lots of functionality) you need a wider base to support it (modules, MVC, templating, routers). This really resonated with people at the conference, because a lot of developers know their code has grown too big for their current setup, but maybe don’t know what tools would alleviate their pain points.
This is the talk to help them out! It wasn’t filmed, but the more refined version of the presentation was delivered at jQuery Portland later in 2013.
srsly, @alexmcpherson it's killing it in this session! love the piece by piece approach he advocates #jQueryTO

@alexmcpherson just crushed his talk on JavaScript application organization and scalability. Well done, really enjoyed. #JQueryTO
